All dogs are free from kennels all day, unless they must be removed from the pack for a specific reason and during feeding times.

Reasons can inlcude injury, illness, being tired and getting "grumpy", needing rest time after a meal to avoid bloat, or at night just because it is more comfortable for them. (Some people choose to crate their pets at night, so sleeping in the open can be uncomfortable.)

Nitetime accomodations include a large fluffy bed filled with stuffing and ceder, smaller donut shaped quilted beds for small dogs who feel more secure sleeping in something that surrounds them, and blankets. There are 9 kennels that are 5 ft wide by 5 ft deep by 6 ft high. The doors to the kennels are open at night. If a dog prefers to go inside a kennel and sleep, they have the option of just going in and laying down. If they want to stay out in the main room with the rest of the pack, they may do so as well.
